One Lion Engineering Services wall fixing control panel suitable for controlling three submersible pumps each driven by a squirrel cage motor. The panel will be totally enclosed in a IP54 sheet steel wall mounted enclosure with a hinged door and removable gland plates.

Inside the enclosure on a suitable sheet steel base would be mounted the following components:-

• One T.P isolating switch mechanically interlocked with the enclosure door.
• Nine HRC main fuses mounted in with drawable fuse holders.
• Three T.P. main contactors.
• Three T.P star contactors.
• Three T.P delta contactors.

The star and delta contactors would be mechanically interlocked and the delta contactor would close under the control of:-

• Three star delta timing relays.
• Three T.P. thermal overload relays each arranged for hand reset in the event of motor overload.
• One set of primary fuses.
• One 415/24 volt control circuit transformer complete with earth screen in accordance with BS 3535.
• One secondary fuse and neutral link.
• One auto change over relay to alternate the duty pump after each operation (optional extra).

The starter will be complete with the necessary terminals, designation labels, and interconnections.

In the door of the enclosure would be mounted:-

• Three hand/off/auto selector switches.
• Three pump running indicating lamps.
• Three overload tripped indicating lamps.
• One duty standby selector switch.

The dual pump control panel is designed to operate three pumps automatically via four float switches duty 1 start, duty 2 start, assist start, and stop mounted in the sump and working on 24 volts ac for safety. Should intrinsically safe float control be required then this can be provided at extra cost.
